Sea Cliff At A Glance

Sea Cliff is the posh enclave of villas perched atop the Pacific Ocean, just outside of the Golden Gate Bridge. Far removed from the hustle of the city, one literally smells and feels the salty sea breeze on their skin when walking the streets of this tony neighborhood. Coveted for its privacy and dramatic landscape views, many famous persons have called Sea Cliff home (Sharon Stone, Liberace, Robin Williams, Eugene Levy, Ansel Adams, Cheech Marin, Paul Kantner, to name a few). Stairs lead to a small cove, China Beach, directly beneath the gaze of the mansions above. Mediterranean influences and palm trees line El Camino Del Mar, the main thoroughfare, which winds through a public golf course and up to the Legion of Honor Museum. Land’s End, at the southern border, is a landscaped cliff-top trail offering spectacular views and access to the shore below where a labyrinth awaits. No tour buses allowed here.
